Volunteering With An Impact
Manna Harvest’s primary support comes from the donations of local service clubs, churches, businesses and other organizations. It operates through a legion of volunteers that support the organization in many various ways. It is a highly effective organization that directly provides services to the less fortunate in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible. Click here for volunteer options
We are heavily dependent upon volunteer assistance and work with 25 or more volunteers on each of the days that we offer services to the Johnson County Community. These volunteers assist with kitchen preparation, basic housekeeping, food distributions, office and clerical, cooking, and maintenance work.
Community volunteers range from high school youth to retirees. Civic, military, and religious groups, office colleagues, teens, university students, families and friends make up the core of Manna Harvest volunteers. Opportunities include assisting with dinner service, helping with special events, clerical assistance and various activities sponsored by groups and individuals to benefit Manna Harvest. To learn more about volunteer activities or to schedule a time to volunteer please contact our Volunteer Coordinator; Shirley Briscoe, at (660) 641-4419 or by filling out the Manna Harvest Volunteer Application.
